I was looking for a rear-facing light to put on my new Prinsu rack. I wanted some type of dynamic (sequential) amber turn signal, and a strobe-type yellow emergency mode. Also, a nice bright red high centre mount brake lamp.

I found the Rigid Chase lights, which look great but I'm not keen on displaying the Rigid logo four times on the back of my truck.

I saw that Rigid is coming out with a bar which should be cheaper than four discrete lights. I'm pretty excited about it, seems to be around US$650:

The mounts that are pictured on the Rigid product page don't look like they will work well on my Prinsu rack. I'd like the bar directly behind the Prinsu aluminum cross member because if it's above it will disallow putting long things on the rack and it will just create wind noise.

I'm wondering if Diode Dynamics might come out with one at a lower price point though? Baja Designs and KC Hilites have similar products that also look pretty good

Feniex has a product called the Fusion 800 light stick which seems to be more in line with the "emergency lighting" function I want. They sell a red/yellow version that will not get me into any trouble with the cops.

    Any thoughts?

I talked to Rigid, they are preparing for initial shipments of the Chase Bar in mid-January 2021.

I don't think the mounting hardware will work well on the back of my Prinsu rack. I really need to mount it directly behind the rack, not above nor below it.

Still going back and forth between the Feniex and the Rigid.

interested to know if you ever picked one of these up. i hear the wiring is a little confusing. i plan on mounting mine with the flush mounts a little below my prinsu on the back. an option you could look at is picking up a bar and mount it using the last remaining open holes on the rack and use the bar mount.

I just picked up a rigid chase bar.. going to mount it on the back bar of my bed rack. It will sit just under the back of my RTT. Just need to figure out how to wire it up and to what switch controller.

    Beautiful install @OverlAnderson!

I ended up installing a fibreglass cap, not sure if there is any good way to mount the Rigid Chase light inside the glass.

The wiring and locating the control in the cab (which seems not easy to operate without staring at it) looked like a project on its own! Let us know how you make out!

One trigger I tapped into the break lights
The other two I ran to my switch pro
