I have questions and lots to learn but the sheer volume of material is over whelming and I honestly don't want to weed through all the dribble to get at the meat.

What do I need to know going 3" plus? What has to be changed and then who makes it etc.
Who makes the top tier, middling and bottom rung items
    Front and rear options

Done. I am surprised if this doesn't exist, but I have not found it...

First you need to decide how much you want to lift the truck. No need to research 3” kits if your going 6” and vice versa.

I have no words, wants to lift truck, unwilling to do his own research, and he’s on the one place that does have all the answers, :notsure::notsure:

Thanks Gotoman 1969, I am just looking for a bit more than I have which is over the magic 3" line. 3-3 1/2 max so I can get to 35's at some point in the future.

You can put 35s on with 2 - 2.5" of lift...

Just need to trim the fenders 2" or so and get UCAs.

I know, because thats what I did.

The issue should not be about of much lift. If you want 35's I would ask why? What is your intended use? Mall crawling, rock crawling, trails, high speed desert type stuff. What is your budget? These two questions should be answered first. But in my opinion the best choice for how to deal with the Tacoma's short comings to fit larger tires is to go with what www.jdfabrication.com offers. You can also read the thread (fitting 35's with minimal trimming) yes the thread is currently 523 pages. You don't need to read every bit of it but once you start you most likely will. You can also check out Kasnerd's build hear (1) kasnerds build - Search (bing.com)

So here is my issue-I want to try and buy the parts once. I mostly do trail with some crawling out west when I have a chance. I am running skinny 33's, AAL's in back and I have 3rd gen OR struts and a spacer up front. Right now the thing rides well and I have not had too many issues where I wanted more-I am fixing the back as it hits all the time and needs some attention. I think Alcan is the way I am headed right now-and they have been very helpful with making decisions based on my needs and projected needs. I need to find someone who knows front end options who is willing to help without the monkey business for asking one gets on TW. Honestly happy with how the truck is right now, but I will inevitably want bigger, better, bad-er. Thanks for those links. Looked at JD Fab-need to talk to someone there ad it seems more than I may need...

We specialize in monkey business, ask specific questions that you’re looking to do. There’s nothing you’re going to do, that someone on here hasn’t already done. Get the Alcans, they make great springs, I’ve used them before and had great success with them. Get some King shocks for the front lift, any thing over 3 inches of lift, and your looking at a bracket lift.

This here is your issue. Front spacers and an aal. Stick with 33's and go with 3" front coilovers and full rear leaf pack. This setup is cheaper, more practical and perform much better than 35's with a 6" drop bracket lift.
