Yes I know. I was comparing it to the 4 piston setup which price wise is similar

I was just adding to what you said and putting the info out there so no one bought a brake kit that “forced” them to buy larger wheels/tires.

Tbh, the 325 is fine. I've been running it for almost 4 years and have had lots of sudden braking experiences, plus mountain trails. But you will need the correct backspacing. My oem spare tire WILL NOT fit on the 6 piston calipers

I current have FN countersteer type X. 17x8 -10. Trucks pushing close to 6100lbs. Feel like a brake upgrade is coming. Just want to make sure I make the right purchase for the cost. Just trying to do some research and get some input

You should have no problem fitting the 340mm kit. If you’re ready to purchase but waiting on Black Friday pricing, I’d give Tom at SOS a call and let him know that you are waiting for the sale pricing and he can answer any questions you have. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gave you the pricing early and created a coupon code for you to do such.

sos performance has a template that you can print to check wheel clearance. Just print it 1:1 scale and cut it out. I glued the template to a piece of cardboard for rigidity. Put the template to the mounting surface of the wheel to see if you have any interference.

The template is on this page.

Dont mean to bump this but what kind of offsets would one need for a 16" wheel to clear this rotor size?
I am currently looking at a 16x8 -10 offset. I figure this would clear both the TC spindle gusset and the rotor.

They have a template you print and use to see if your wheel will work.
    That's what I did.

Have you asked Tom at SOS Performance? When I bought my 6 piston kit, I verified that it would fit with my 17” TE37XT’s. I went with the 340mm kits.

    Just washed
Will the 6 piston kit clear Method NVs 17x8.5 0 offset 4.75BS? Looks like they should considered a few OEM wheels do on this thread.
