Yeah, you do. The leverage they provide is huge. As long as you win more then you lose you'll make money.

Right there with you. Currently, I have been doing a lot of studying.

Perhaps the most I’ve ever done in my life.

I’ve started studying a few times but always end up distracted. I tried to buy a call once but I was too broke. That’s probably still the case. I’ll probably wait until I have a solid 1-2k of dry powder to try again.

    Only have 1k to go

They have DEC options all the way out to $50. That's pretty nuts for a $5 stock. lol

I learn quicker when I’m playing a dummy hand vs someone explaining the game.

grab a call with a strike price at the money (atm) which is roughly the same as the ticker’s stock price at the time of purchase, about a month out on one of your favorite closely watched stock in the $1-15 range.

then watch it and your call, like a hawk to learn how the value of your call flows with the stock price.

that explanation probably cost me like $750.

    I’m still learning.

there's a few good resources that have been shared here...uh...like 2000 pages back...
there's a lot of websites that lay out the options strategies and the general jist of things..
your broker probably has a whole course on 'em too. assuming it's not RH...
tastytrade had a pretty slick interface for options trades..

read a shit ton about 'em before you ever do anything...i think i literally spent a month reading about options before i ever traded one.
paper trading them is prob a good idea...

RMO is a nasty one....that shit will drop like stone out of nowhere...use stop losses.
