Performance Upgrades for 5VZ-FE? Boosted Engine

discontinued LONG ago. unless your lucky enough to find a set for sale then obx makes a clone version of them now. quality is lower though

 

I'm not around the forums as much these days, but I have an AEM water/meth kit on the way and will document it as best I can. I have one of those 'extra pingy' 5vz-fes that some talk about that needs a lot of timing pulled and a rich rich A/F to be happy so I think I'm a great use-case for what these kits are supposed to do.

Second mod arrived already but I have a schedule a time with a good trans shop + finish the water/meth install + tune before getting it done (as I'm 100 the shop doing it will flog the truck afterwards and I want to make sure the tune is safe)- I got the transgo reprogram kit in. I've found that WOT on the freeway finds a gear/load where I have to let off the throttle during a shift otherwise risk damage with how long/slow the trans seems to be shifting.
