    So, everything is done under the hood. Where im stuck ia the two wires that are supposed to go to fuses. The directions suck and or im a half wit when it comes to anything electrical.

    @Mark77

    One is red/yellow -- the other is Blue/white.

    For my set up, all working great since the install--

    The red/yellow ignition wire is tapped into the fuse labeled power outlet number 2. POUTLET2 on the fuse

    The Blue/white illumination wire is tapped into the fuse labeled tail.
    TAIL on the fuse

    Both are tapped in with the small add a fuse.

    I can get you pics later today or I can facetime you once I get home to help out.

    Which add a fuse did you purchase, do you remember? I want to avoid getting something that doesn't fit.

    I have a large bag of them like a kit, but If I remember correctly it's the mini add a fuse. Just to be safe pick up a mini and a small, they are cheap.

    @ClassyTacos
    So, the poutlet fuse in the truck is a 15amp
    The tail fuse is 7.5 amp.

    All i have w these add a fuse kits are 15 amp fuses. Can i use a 15 amp? Do i need to add 2 fuses to the add a fuse since it has space for 2?

    I Used the POUTLET2, its on the right hand side of the fuse block. It's a 7.5. See if you have it, some trucks do not have the spot, it will say USB 7.5 where mine is labeled POUTLET2. Different years and options.

    Do not us a 15 amp fuse in a 7.5 amp fuse, they are rated to pop before whatever its protecting goes.

    Yes, you need both fuses as the add a fuse creates the ability for both the stock configuration and your added accessory to be fused. Put both the fuses in.
