I received an offer for my 2019 TRD Offroad from my dealership to upgrade to a 2022 for $6,298. Besides power seats and CarPlay, what are the other differences between these two models?

True, but I know Toyota adds new features to the Tacoma each year, and I was just curious what they were.

The LED headlight option for $495 is new, and a no-brainer…

A/C independent control is standard on 22

    pre-wired for bed lighting.

I wanted the LED headlight option on my AG DCOR Taco but since I got the Technology Package I wasn't able to get the headlights. If you go to Toyota's site and configure a new 2022 you can't have LED headlights and Technology Package at the same time. Go figure :notsure:

How long would it take to get a 2022? Also have to factor in sales tax.

Might be a regional thing, but I just hopped on the Toyota website and what it does is combine the Tech package with the LED headlight pkg, rather that both separately. DEAEDC18-6987-4BB1-A1D4-7AFF9D6EA2B5.jpg

So your 19or + $6300 for a 22or? What is the sticker on the 22?
I ask because Carvana & the like are paying big money for used Tacoma$

As for no leds with the tech package, every package includes leds.
    You in Canada?

Something to consider, you'd be paying over 6 grand for basically a few more bells and whistles and a 3 year warranty extension. Otherwise the guts of the new truck is the same as the one you got. I guess this deal might make sense if the 2019 had a boatload of miles on it.

The offer letter says that sales tax is included. They are getting in several 2022's next month.

I went from a 2019 DCLB OR to 2022 DCSB OR and love it. Dual zone climate, auto on headlight, no chrome around cup holders, better multimedia, and also seems quieter in cab.

They removed the transmission cooler, the drivers side grab handle and the cubby from the left side of the bed

Here in Tennessee when I configured my 2021 online this spring, the build tool combined the tech package and LEDs. However, when I got the allocation from the dealer in July, they were already saying they couldn't get the LEDs. I don't know when that changed, but I ended up missing out on the LED headlights because of that.

I don’t see a grab handle on the drivers side in that photo. Just the passengers. Pretty sure they removed in 2020 as mine doesn’t have one nor does my friends

My 2019 doesn't have a grab handle on the driver's side. Only passenger side.
