Seat replacement.

I have a 2006 tacoma. Let's be honest, your seats look terrible.. so, fix it. I looked around to see if anyone did it cheap. They dont.... order the parts and rebuild it yourself. My wife and I did both seats in a few hours..

Soo you read this far, here is the "trick" decide which parts of each seat you need. They are expensive.

Once you get them and take the seat out. Simply cut the metal orings holding the fabric to the seat. You don't need them. Your replacing them with zip ties.. omg... we fought and fought with the oem rings... give it up. Unless your a flyfisherman who can bench press 200 pounds do it my way.....

My Garage is a Toyota commercial.. wifes lunar rock has been "crawled out" of mud and sand.. By its loving older sister.

 

FYI, you have to shut "crawl control " off. While being toed... it would be nice if they ever said that.. it causes the software to panic.. ill upload video sometime.

 

I replaced my driver bottom in the summer. And before that I added heated seats about 3 years ago and zip tyes is what i used .

 

How'd you add the heated seats? Was your truck prewired from the factory? Looking to ass heated seats to my 2013 this winter.

 

No they weren’t pre wired. I bought a kit from this company. Ive been using this company for about 10 years now installed them in my old jeep and my canyon i drove for a year. Once you have them you will always want them
Just call them and get a universal kit I always opted for the flat switches. Theses seats get f- ing hot!

Or you can the ebay kits witch work . But there don’t get nearly hot as these. I aslo added them for my rear passengers

 

Better shot of switches. I just used the stock blanks and cut a slot for the ribbon cables to go through there a little extra work for the flat switches over the round rockers that they offer but more factory looking in my opinion
