I'm trying to figure out the best way to darken or blackout my trd sport grill emblem. It looks like window tint is the easy way but I'm not sure what the best material is or if there's a better option.

Can anyone give me some pointers or options on this? Thanks.

I used this exact stuff and it came out looking really good, held up well (although I eventually switched the whole thing out for a heritage grille) and really muted the chrome and blended with the sort of gray color of the surrounding grille. Also, didn't affect the TSS at all. If you do it, make sure to remove the emblem entirely and use a heat gun to pull the matte vinyl around it evenly, then trim the edges back. Looks super clean when finished, no ridges or bubbles.

Edit: just realized we both live in SC, how funny. Trucks are damn similar too
