    Hello 2nd Gen friends,

Last night as we went to get our Christmas tree, I discovered that my headlights aren't working. Specifically low beams only. High beams work fine. Fog lights work fine. Signals work fine (front and rear).

Any suggestions on where I start to troubleshoot? I have next to zero experience working on vehicles of any kind, so please talk to me like I'm an idiot because I absolutely am.

    Thanks!

Are you sure they are not just burnt out. It is possible you were driving for a while with one headlight and did not notice until the other one failed. I would start with new bulbs

You can measure voltage at the connector when turning on low beams.

Absolutely a possibility. I just checked fuses and they were fine. No obvious corrosion on wires or anything. Brother in law also gave me Occam's razor response. Thanks y'all!

If there is a high beam relay and a low beam relay you could try swapping them to verify the low beam relay is working.

Bulbs were both blown! I rarely drive at night, so I hadn't noticed until daylight saving...

Anyway, also discovered that my DRL bulbs are dead, so need to replace those as well I think.
