A few years ago a guy my wife works with bought an Infinity QX80 for right about $100k. She told him he paid too much for his Nissan.

Wow 84k without all the options!
Even if I had a use for a big diesel pickup certainly would be hard to fork out that much for one. I wonder if GM even makes a work truck with just the basics and what would that run? When I say use for one, I'm talking hauling a big trailer full of tools, or a car hauler or something on a daily basis.
The deer; if I ever go again then most certainly have a better laid plan next time. It wasn't that bad but after realizing that dragging it a thousand yards or more was out of the question, we called my wife's friend who owns the property, picked her up and she took us the long way around to get the truck to it.
Now hope the processing place is open tomorrow. I think they stay open the entire week of the season :fingerscrossed:

$54k for a regular cab long box, turbo diesel 2500HD. About the only option I added was a gooseneck package.

That's a mortgage worth of payment. Crazy.
I didn't make it to the auction last night but I am in the stand today. Getting chewed up by skeeters bad. Should be a decent morning for movement.

Goodmorning everyone. Coffee and a day old donut, not a bad start to the day.
I guess for me, first thing get moving and hit the area we hunted last night and look for $$$
Wife had a bunch of cash in the overhead on the sun visor and noticed it had fell out and kicked around on the floor board. She says $60.00 fell out possibly.
Then game check then butcher dude.

Me too. She said that she'd go look this morning but I want to do it for her. It was nice having her company on the hunt. Actually she may have been very helpful too; she got to playing with this little bleat call that I have and think that call that buck in!
First time I've ever heard a deer snort and carry on like this one did.
    Plus, she brought cookies

My first house was just under $90k. I can't imagine owning a vehicle that expensive.

We just refinanced our house in February. Saved 8 years of payments and 30k$ in interest. We only owe 69k on the house. No way I could drop that on a pickup.

A personal Vehicle in any case that in theory does not pay for itself.

That you can`t really get any tax write offs for.

It was about 30 on my front porch this morning -- I could almost do with a skeeter or two. ;)

We refinanced in March. We were 8 years into a 30 year mortgage, the new one is a 15 year so we cut 7 years off and will save about $70k in interest.
