What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Increase in power, decrease in fuel economy. Checks out, no free lunch.

 

I replaced the stalk and bought a factory harness. Made it all plug and play. Also picked up the OEM fog lights and bezels from a member here. Next step is to convert to yellow.

 

I never noticed a drop in fuel mileage but did notice acceleration improvements with the HPS silicone tube.
Since then I got the KDMax ECU flash this past spring which again improved acceleration, reduced gear hunting and improved towing performance as well.
About 4 months ago I added the TRD flow accelerator. This seemed to smooth out the power band and reduced the acceleration noise from the HPS hose. I did like the air flow sound but I'm assuming less sound meant improved air flow.

That cutout is a stand-alone piece. Not part of the garage door.
So you can lock that extra piece in place and then bring down the garage door on top of it afterward.

 

Fit would be OEM but wiring would be diff.

 

That’s what I get for looking at the picture on my phone. I missed that the lower part of the “door” wasn’t segmented like a normal garage door.

 

In what way?

 

I have the k&n version of this, black plastic with the filter and intake flow accelerator. But Left the charcoal filter alone and I actually felt a very slight improvement with the throttle response. I’ve had trd off-road, “base model” and now trd pro tails on my 2021 trd off road and haven’t seen anything differences on the back of those 3 taillights. Even the bulbs interchange. When I ordered the pro taillights they made a mistake and sent me a one side for a pro and the other for and sr truck and the back looked the same. @Rottencotton, If the “base” model taillights work on my off-road, I would think the off roads would work on the “base” model trucks.

 

We do not guarantee it.
But most people get 1-2 mpg better with the KDMax-Pro tune.

 

Where are you located? I have a set of red offroad that I would be happy to let you try on your truck, since they are just sitting in a box.

 

I installed s and b intake, it makes lots of noise but never decreased fuel economy. Got a kdmaxx tune and snorkel, fuel economy went up

 

Its decent. I bought it used actually. Its good for now, I will probably get a full aftermarket front bumper eventually. No complaints with the avid.
