I was aboot a half mile from the finish line and we were encouraging the ones who were ready to drop. It’s amazing what some cheering does to people when they are ready to give up. I was workin the cowbell and my forearm was cramping so imagine me running 26.2 fukkin miles. I would be done before we got to the .2 part. My hat is off to these people.
They still but I respect them.

 

It was my daughter and her goal was to just finish it. She finished in a little under 4 hours and 15 minutes.

 

I ve seen some of dem videos of people crawling.. can’t even control da funktion of dair legs … r bowels .. pretty crazy stuff

No need to be sorry, Brian. It’s her first and last marathon. She will stick with 10k runs after this.

ps. I walked about 5 miles today, had a big lunch and said Fugg it. I’m calling for an Uber to take me back to where I parked. She doesn’t get it from me.
