For you northern folks, how's this bumper holding out in the salt and slush states? I had a pair of steel steps and they rusted really fast, which is why I've been looking at aluminum bumpers but I keep coming back to SSO because to me, they make the best looking bumper for the Tacoma.

Im in Wisconsin so I feel your pain. If it's steel your going to have to do maintenance at some point. I have to touch up my sliders yearly. I waiting on my bumper (which I is also getting powder coated) and I expect to do the same touch up maintenance. It's just a fact of life in the rust belt.

Has anyone got the Full plate bumper and kept a hidden bumper light bar with the new bumper? I have a hidden front bumper light bar from cali raised and wanted to know if I could keep it if I went with the full plate bumper

It might be possible if you don’t have a winch, but I couldn’t say for sure. But definitely not with a winch.

We recommend cleaning the bumper often, to help with the chemicals/salt places spray on the road. We also recommend repowdercoating it every other year or at signs of first wear and tear. At the end of the day the elements will always win, we just have to do the best to combat them.

We apologize, we have been having supply issues. Metal has been a lot of "fun" to get our hands on. Your order should see some movement here shortly. I assign orders out by order date, and sometimes our metal orders come in incomplete so I do not know I am assigning work out that has yet to reach to facility. So I do apologize about that.

Coat your bumper with fluid film, and get car washes regularly in the winter to wash the salt off. Then coat it w fluid film again.

lots and lots, never ending mods
I'm holding off from ordering a full plate bumper on one issue, I can't decide bull bar or no bull bull bar as I like the look of both, I am leaning toward bull bar though for a little extra protection

I had the same dilemma, ended up going bull bar. Good luck!

The bull bar looks great and is not very intrusive. You can see it on the camera (if you have a front facing cam) but it doesn't stop you from using it effectively.

No bull bar here, wanted a low profile look.

@codemancer I am currently sitting on a factor 55 fairlead and splice link. Not sure how well the item will work with all of that. I will study it though.

I used an oscillating multitool and it worked really well.
