Video Tutorial on lifting 2nd Gen Tacoma

    Icon Coil-overs, TC UCA, with Bilstein 5150 and Icon 3 leaf pack. 17" Moto Metal 951 4.5" Backspacing wrapped in 285/70/17 BFG AT's. Demello front bumper and Avid offroad sliders.
    Here is a pretty cool video of how to lift a 2nd Gen Tacoma. They installed a spacer lift but this video could be used for other applications as well. I have installed a few different lifts on Tacoma's and FJ's so this is more for others to see.

    I have a question though. Why did they mount the rear shocks on the side of the stock mounting place?

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    The particular shock they used wouldnt fit in the OEM location, so they had to mount it on the side. BAD decision, IMHO. The way they mounted it is significantly weaker than the OEM location. The vid is an OK tutorial on removal of the front stuff.
