Mike, the warranty on Danfoss/Secop is 5 years. Will this compressor have a 5 year warranty?

Really? All of my research before I made a purchase showed that model used a Chinese knock-off compressor. Any chance we can get a pic of the compressor for proof?

 

The w53 and w60 use the alpicool compressor.
The current CSI fridges have a one year warranty.
The Fridges are currently out of stock. International shipping has been a nightmare.
As for the voltage issues I received so much push back from the company on this. 95% of their customers use them in a vehicle that is running/charging most of the time and not in one place on a dedicated set up. So their response was more of "we sell these all the time and only your customers have problems." Having said that, if you plan for the large voltage draw upon startup they work great. I have used my w60 on many overland trips with no issues. I do have the w61 battery pack and a dedicated 12volt plug. There are a ton of these out there still going strong but we are also seeing some die between 2-3 years. So I would not say this will be the last fridge you would ever have to buy. If you are looking for a cheap dual zone entry level fridge these are GREAT. If you want to buy a fridge with a long warranty we would gladly set you up with a Dometic with a 5 year or a snomaster with a 7 year warranty.

We also do not have any control on what CSI does, neither does my opinion or sales have any effect. We have and continue to provide the best possible customer service.
