    Hello,

I just recently purchased a gently used 2020 TDR Off-Road. Whenever I got it the DCM fuse was removed and the remote start was working. Whenever I put the fuse back in the remote start no longer works. The truck isn't remote connect compatible. I've looked all over this forum and google trying to figure out why that fuse would cause the OEM remote start to not work. It works perfectly fine with it out but with it in, the engine cranks but never turns over then the lights flash and the dash displays, "smart entry and start system check". I'm at a loss.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Unless the previous owner was involved in some type of modifications, it sounds like a warranty issue to me.

Pulling the DCM fuse seems to be a common way to kill the 'Toyota snooping'. Is that something you want back in play?

I mean with the fuse out, what functions are missing that you are wanting to use?
