Same here. As long as the weather holds it’ll be dt.5 all day Thursday and Friday.

 

Paid day off and Monday is my scheduled day off so 5 in a row off.
I found a hat yesterday , must have been the person restocking the vending machine.

I see there's a outage coming up in February that I could sign up to work. I bet it's mighty cold though in Newport MI, that time of year...
The overtime though and per-diem $$$ ugh

 

It's warmer there than it is here in February!

That's why I'm glad the Mayo Clinic has a conference my wife goes to in Hawaii in February so we can go thaw out for a week.

 

So for me at work it's either sign up and commit to working it, or hold out and hope Arizona ask for help in April/May time-frame.
It be close to 10 grand over my regular pay for 5 weeks of work

 

What's the likelihood of that happening?

Hang on to that, or sell it for $50. You can't hardly get the camo ones any more.

 

I really don't know for sure but have a couple of contacts down there that I could and should check with. Over the past several years it seem like every other year they would request help. Which would make this Spring unlikely.

 

It would be more than enough to pay off the note on my Tacoma.

 

For years I worked Holiday Shutdowns Start Wednesday At 1700 go to Monday at 0600 if things went really bad employees might get another day off in Pa the Monday after Turkey day is Deer Season and in some places no one shows up to work so it is just another day off. Lots of Schools back in my day as well
