    Anytime sir.

Yeah the sport hitachis are like toothpicks compared to 5100s or OME. Also I had a clunk going over speed bumps, thought it was my body mounts. Now with the new suspension, no clunking at all.

I actually was very open with my wife about the price, she took it pretty well surprisingly haha. I told her my truck is pretty much paid off so it’s time to do some fun things so we can explore the nature more, she agreed. Now need to get a hard shell RTT and bed rack… It’s never ending.

I’ll post some more pics when I pick up my truck on Friday after work.

I didn't realize that OEM roof rack has slide out cross-bars...until I saw a Toyota video about the 2021 Tacoma.

Very nifty idea...how do you like them?

And yes, that parking slot is challenging!

I like that I can see how a lift looks on your truck because I have the same model/color Sport.

I like the OEM rack. I was thinking of getting prinsu, but I have a sunroof and IMO prinsu looks kind of weird. Also, prinsu is noisier on the highway. The biggest disadvantage of the OEM rack is the load capacity, but it works just fine for me.

OEM rack matches nicely with the rest of the truck as well.

Shoot. I love it when we all post pics. We each get to see how those mods would look on our own trucks. I'd post mine but so far no mods worth posting someone hasn't already done and posted a pic for.

    Thanks for posting pics!

Looks great and versatile...I wouldn't want to put too much of a load on the roof either if I had a sunroof.

I'm looking at the Sherpa Roof Rack:

    https://sherpaequipmentco.com/products/grand-teton

But, that's on my wish list for now...as is the Lift like yours too...and new wheels/tires.

I'm happy for the time being...but seeing others with their new additions makes me happy too.

Thanks! Yep, that Sherpa is not bad at all.

The reason I said I have the sunroof and didn’t want prinsu, was because I use my sunroof a lot and would hate to be looking at crossbars.

Figured I’d chime being local also…
I just lifted my ‘21 TRD OffRoad, had it for a few weeks couldn’t stand the mushy stock suspension set up.
I’ve been through this game many times, spent all kinds of money on suspension upgrades, wheels, tires etc… This time I kept it simple with 5100’s + Eibach 2”springs up front. 1” block & Firestone airbags in the back. Rides great, no complaints, alignment stayed within spec. I also do all the work myself.

You definitely can’t go wrong with 5100s as well.

Well you can if you use the stock springs and preload them, the ride is crap… The Eibachs ride great.

So I'm ordering a ORSB probably Jan-Feb and would also like to do the 2" lift. Does the gold standard involve new coils on the front and a new leaf pack in the rear (in addition to shocks)? My head is really hurting trying to find some of the parts you guys listed online. I think my best bet would be to find a shop in Alberta to take care of it as I'm not a big wrench puller. I enjoy researching things before I purchase, had no idea how much of my life would be lost trying to sort out how to mod a new truck!!!

I think it is safe to lose the bug deflector now. Bugs cannot flight that high, especially in Canada

    Amen, brother.

I had a rock hit the top of my roof (about 5 inches from the top of driver's side windshield) and leave a chip. Had I had the Sherpa Roof Rack, it would have hit the front fairing instead of the paint on the roof.

You just don't know where debris is gonna come from and where it's going to land.

    Here you go...

    Eibach Pro-Lift front springs E30-82-069-02-20
    Bilstein B8 5100 Series 0-2" front 24-263108
    Bilstein B8 5100 Series 0-1" rear 24-186728
    * all of the above purchased from Essex Distributors in Richmond BC
    KYB strut mount isolators SM5640

For the rear I just used a 1" block (thats the largest I'd use) for now, I am also using Firestone air bags with the Daystar bag cradle. This set up works for me you'll need to figure out what you want to do here (add-a-leaf, new spring pack, block, etc...). I also put in a 1/4" lean spacer on the drivers side front, extended front bump stops & the ECGS bushing in front diff at the same time.

There is no "gold standard" however you can learn from other peoples experiences on here! 5100's work great for these trucks but in my opinion only with aftermarket lift springs. Preloading the OEM spring works but the ride comfort is compromised... Ask questions, feel free to DM if you want. Also, wrenching all of this stuff is actually very easy!

Seems like a good combo- how's the street manners? What setting are the 5100s on with the eibach springs? Did you get 2 inches of lift once settled?
