Wondering if this is a steering rack issue or if it just part of driving with 285's:

I have an 05 DCSB taco that is my first true build. So I've been learning a lot about the truck and becoming aware of all the little details of it.

I recently replaced my hubs, inner and outer tie rods, and lower ball joints and it got me thinking about steering feel. I bought the truck with 285/75/16's, and compared to the F150 work truck I drive with 265's, my taco's steering feels a little bit stiffer and slightly my sluggish. That is, more resistance.

I know the tires are 20mm thicker than the original 265, which means a 20mm larger surface patch. But I am curious from other folks experience -- should the steering feel stiffer/more resistive with a 285 vs 265 tire? Or do I need to get my steering rack checked out?

    Thanks!
