No, it will not just plug right in. You can make adapter harnesses and should be able to get it to work. But, depending on your knowledge, skill level, experience and willingness to waste time... you may or may not want to tackle that project.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I do not want to start cutting/splicing wires for a stock radio swap. Now if it had been a plug/play swap, I might have gone for it.

    Thanks again!

Well, technically I did mine without cutting any wires on the truck. I cut and spliced some aftermarket wiring harnesses together to make my setup plug and play (2014 radio into a 2010).

Ah, now that sounds interesting. I could make the harness while my radio stays in and operable.
Was the bezel fitment good? Also if I may ask, where did you get the plugins for the harness?

It required pulling my radio multiple times to test it, but luckily the radio comes out very easily. I had to swap out the surround piece as well as the stereo. The part that holds the 4x4 selector switch and the HVAC vents.

You can do some searching if it's something you want to tackle. For me, it was a decent amount of work researching and finding the parts but I couldn't be happier. I generally hate aftermarket stereos in modern vehicles and I couldn't live without the BT functionality from the 2012+ models.

Here's one thread to get you started, there are more. You can search for my name as well as I made a couple posts about it.

Aftwrmarket is super easy. I bought unit and harness. Tied colors together that came with after market unit, then it was all plug and play.
