And you didn't run into any issues when you mounted the cap with your rails being 1/8 in. off?

EDIT: Rough Country look to mount in the same manner as the ones from Victory 4x4. I want to say someone in this thread ran into an issue with the rail being moved, but now I'm not sure and don't want to go through 101 pages.

Did you place the rubber squares near the bolt that holds down the cap?, without those rubber blocks you will bend stuff...

Curious, did the 1/4-20 bolts you got from t-nutz fit into the smartcap channels? Or did you have to use M8s with the provided square nuts?

Nope tight fit but should clear. I got the rubber end caps in case they run against the panel. But it clears

@hungoverland on IG, King 2.5" EXT Travel w/ Archive Garage shock relocation, Icon RXT leafpack, 285 Nitto M/T's, bronze Raceline Defender wheels, TJM front/rear bumpers, TJM Sliders, Prinsu Cabrac, Katzkin leather, RSI Smartcap EVO topper, OV Tuned, MESO everything, Spyder headlights and tail lights, center mounted infant restraining system (CMIRS) \m/
I copied @Nick1992 and found that his part list worked out for me, but could be more snug. The 1/4-20's had a little play in them, so the M8's or anything slightly larger may be better.

Did anyone have issues torquing the bolts that hold the sides to the roof panel? 2 of the 10 appear to be free spinning. I can't tighten or loosen them.

Dont torque to specs from RSI. I tighten the bolts by feels. IMO, I think you may have stripped the threading if the bolts dont want to back out or tighten. You might need to reach out to your vendor or RSI for new hardware.

Good to know. I'm surprised this wasn't an issue with 8 of the 10 bolts.

This looks promising. I'd like to test something like this out. Would you be willing to share your design? I probably have those magnets on hand. What are you using for the gasket?

Here are a few photos of my smartcap setup after getting it all wired up. The LEDs will turn on if any of the 3 smartcap doors are popped (via reed switch), or the tailgate is open (door jamb switch). LEDs can also be dimmed, or turned off completely if needed with the dimmer knob located in the DC panel. The DC panel is 3d printed, and contains one of those blue sea accessory panels. I removed one of the DC plugs and replaced it with an ARB threaded plug for the dometic fridge. The fridge is probably the coolest thing I own, nothing like pulling over for an ice cold seltz when i need one.

Dude, I saw when these hit IMGUR and commented on them there. Nice job. Have you invested in rubber trim yet for all the rough edges? It makes a huge difference.
