New Tacoma owner here. Well, it wasn't a planned thing for me to own a Tacoma. My dad passed from COVID in September and his cherished 2014 TRD Sport has been passed on to me. One of the last things he said while in the hospital was to make sure his truck didn't sit around and that he wanted to me to take care of her. The man loved his truck—it was the best one he's ever owned! It's been a rough few months, but here I am, her new owner.

All of my Toyotas (of which there are four) are named after Game of Thrones characters. The Tacoma is Brienne (of Tarth)—the largest of the group—and she joins Cersei, Dany, and Aria. I've been stalking YouTube channels, online stores, Instagram accounts, and more just trying to get ideas for what to do. And, while I can't say I have a lot of technical/mechanical knowledge, I've been getting pretty excited about changing a few things. She's mostly stock but I'm putting together a hit-list of some upgrades. She needs to be raised a bit, slightly bigger tires, upgraded wheels, new shocks/coils (I've heard the Bilstein 5100s are good), and new Morimoto XB LED headlights are first on the list. I have no plans for any serious off-road adventures, but some light trails, a shallow creek, etc. would be nice. Advice is definitely welcome if you have any!

My dad wanted her taken care of so that's exactly what's gonna happen. Anyhow, this is me. Hello everyone.

Welcome and my condolences. The thing is that you have a powerful connection with your dad through the Taco. I only wish I had something of my own dads to take care of in his memory. Cherish it...

Love the GOT naming convention too...
