The one by the battery I'm pretty sure is for the Remote Keyless Entry beeper, not sure about the other one. What are the wire colors going to it?

I can use some help figuring out what this wiring harness goes to. I think it's for the fo20211113_160304.jpg20211113_160246.jpg 20211113_160232.jpg g lights but not sure. It's on a 2015 tacoma prerunner. Any help is greatly appreciated.

So one would think if that's for the fog lights, my truck would be pre-wired for them.

I don’t have access to my wire diagrams right now. But that’s where my Power inverter switch is at.

I don't think mine has the power inverter if that's the plug for 110 volts in the bed. The other 2 slots next to it are empty.

Nightcrawler thanks for that info. I'll have to look to see if there are any plugs under the bumper. Just got this truck in Aug and wanting to add fog lights.

I’m pretty sure it is for the inverter.

Well I took my truck to the dealership for service and they told me that plug wire went nowhere. Sounds odd to me but I guess maybe one day I'll figure it out.

Typically these trucks are all wired mostly the same for ease of production. So there will be a few unused wiring plugs behind the dash like you discovered.

It’s for the power inverter switch.
It does go somewhere, but it doesn’t hook to anything you have.
And IMO, you don’t want the OE inverter anyways. If you’re adding an inverter, get a better one.
And run it to operate at anytime in any gear.

Not wanting to run a power inverter. Looking to hook up fog lights and thought it went for that. Thanks for the info though.

    Ohh, ok.
I’ve commented on so many post about plugs, I can’t remember what post is what.
The one on the right is for the Fog Lights.

The plug on the right looks like mine but mine has 5 wires. Guess I'll just buy a fog light kit and install it myself.
