    Hi everybody,
I am trying to install calirasied fog light pods on my 2021 SR. The lights come as a “replacement kit” for the factory fogs but I contacted calirasied and they said I can still use those lights with their wiring harness, which I will also be purchasing. Everything sounds good except I want to tap the lights into my ignition fuse to where the fogs will shut off when I kill the engine. That being said, I’d also like to have the option of the switch as well of course, as I do not want the fogs on just because my truck is running. I’m also planning on using a calirasied switch as well. Does anyone know how I can wire this setup so that I can use the switch, but the switch can be “overrided” so to speak when the ignition is turned off?
    Thanks in advance,
    Brandon

Can you handle re-wiring the harness you are buying?

I just finished putting a set of Tacoma Limited foglights on my 17 SR a couple weeks ago.
First off Toyota did not make a foglight hook up to their wiring harness for SRs.
I went to the junk yard and found a Camry with foglights and used that harness. After going through all of that I found the factory fog light connections at Rock Auto. I had bought a aftermarket wiring harness so I combined the two. I did not want my foglights tied into the head lights which can be done by spicing in by the headlights as some utube videos suggest which is a lot easier than trying to connect them in your steering column.
I kept searching and found another utube video that showed how to hook up your fog lights so they operate separately from the other lights. In your fuse box there should be 2 accessory fuses and they should be marked on the lid which ones they are. I bought a Bussman piggy back fuse that plugged into the accessory fuse and hooked up my fog lights that way. Ive had no problems. I also have a remote light switch in the panel above my hood release. My biggest concern was screwing with the computers not wiring this correctly. Try to find that video I watched on line. I typed in "wiring foglights for a 16-21 Toyota Tacoma videos". 3 or 4 videos came up . Good luck.

OP, this what you are buying:

This is what you need to do:

Add-a-fuse goes to any in-cab IGN circuit you choose so the switch cuts off when vehicle off as you stated.
