I’ve got Pedal Commanders on my Camry, my wifes CH-R, and my Tacoma.
Never had a problem with any of them.
I won’t get a tune because you have to wait for someone to come to your area to do it, so if you have a problem, you’re just ass out until they come back.
Now, if they did e-tunes by using a programmer (I had my Challenger tuned by Jaye Greene with a Diablosport tuner, and my Mazda Speed3 by Freektune with a Cobb Accessport), I’d be all in. But since you can’t tune a Tacoma that way.........

Let me guess... was it some error related to the brake system? Yes, I had this same exact issue a few months into having the Pedal Commander installed. Took it out, reset the code on the truck, and never had an issue after that. I ended up sending it back to Pedal Commander for a replacement under warranty and when I got the replacement, I immediately turned it around and sold it here. It was fun and all but nothing you can't do by just pushing down quicker on your gas pedal and wasn't worth the risk of that crazy error to happen again while driving in traffic. As others have said, just get your truck tuned properly and ditch the Pedal Commander.

You guys have a link or reference to where you got the Sprint Booster for that price? Think it's the option for me.

Kdmax is the jam. Shifts so nice and smooth now. Plus I went up 2mpg even with heavier tires. Freeway cruising is a breeze now too

    I've taken the mudflaps off?
I JUST had @TWTaco down in Mission Viejo put the KDmax 6.0 on my 2021 today and by the time I drove 35 minutes back home to The OC, my truck actually shifted like it should have from the factory, held a gear instead of hunting around for the right ratio........and to my surprise I'm pretty sure my d*ck was even about an inch longer and maybe even a bit thicker.

My wife and I both totally recommend a KDmax tune AND @TWTaco

IMG_5539.jpg Hey siderman hope this helps. The names have been changed to protect the innocent which explains the blue duct tape on my computer screen. Lol. The invoice states I paid $269 but I really paid $259 out the door. Like I previously stated, the "tune" stuff is more defined and accurate but I just like the hard-wired "plug and play" SprintBooster stuff. It's a one time install and I don't have to worry about where the nearest tuner guy is and all the technical computer skills that I don't have. Keep us updated.....
