It heals eventually. Still don't have full motion, but I've got 95% motion. Can lift just as much if not more weight than before. Takes months.

 

Your only option is to stay the course . Peaks and valleys of accomplishment and discouragement are the norm. For me sleeping is the worst still as I’m sure your find out

 

Therapist started me at 5# weight bicep curls . I tested myself at 8# today and found it to be ok but will alternate between both till I’m comfortable.
