That's a horrible idea. What time?
What'd he offer for a new ride? Tacomas here are getting an instant 5k mark up before they're even prepped for sale.

Didn’t even ask as I told them I was only looking at selling for now. Mine is a 21 with only 3700 miles, so definitely wouldn’t trade for a 22.

Got the Deavers and Archive hammer hangers on this weekend, initially seeing 3" of additional lift. Coilovers are going on this weekend, and the smoothies just showed up today, so Phase 3 will be those and the shock relocation towers. The smoothies are massive, the pic doesn't do it justice.

Bought a thing I may regret. A roof rack made by Hooke Road. 100% Chinesium, but at $380 I couldn't resist. Even includes a light bar! What could possibly go wrong? Stay tuned.

Shouldn't really need one. If it sticks just beat on the side of the lug where it bolts into the knuckle.

And that doesn't work there's always the redneck method. Thread the nut on a little and hammer from the stud of the tie rod.

Because you're a nut?? Yuck yuck!

I prefer the hammer method. Rarely failed me. I have all kinds of separating doo-dads in my tool box and they barely get used. Little knock on that lug with a BFH and pop goes the weasel!

Problem is that I'm a caveman and I'd probably miss and booger the threads

And after spending 10years in Pennsylvania, it needs some extra encouragement all the time lol

The PA factor may change things. Missing does not. I have thumbs that can attest to that!

I definitely prefer the proper tool. When I first got Betty and needed to replace the tie rod end, the tool was the only thing that got it out. It looked like the one Ryan posted a pic of.

It's only $14 so it's a no-brainer for me to get one. But I'll have a hammer close by just in case lol.

Question for with greater knowledge, which is most everyone else. Looking at a set of used wheels from a 2006 Taco. I think they will fit based on the info below. Can I get TPMS for these? I don't think that was an option back then. Specs in the pic below. I have 17x8.5, and I think the same bolt pattern.
