Hello, new to the site and have a question.

As I stated in the title, I have a new 2022 Tacoma TRD Off Road, 4x4, double cab with the short bed. I’m looking for 1.5 - 2” of lift on my truck. This is strictly for looks and to enable slightly larger tires and or wheels (Not 33’s). I may however someday get into light trail riding. So I’d like to be prepared for that as well. But, by all means I care about a smooth ride on the highway.

Suggestions? (I’ve also reached out to Headstrong. But also looking for different perspectives.

Hey man welcome! I actually have a 22 Off-road coming in a few weeks and I am in the same boat as you. Looking for the exact same lift and for the same reasons.

after some reading and suggestions from other members I decided to go with Eibach Pro Stage 1 lift and a 1.5” block in the rear. I actually just ordered the stuff yesterday and put the links below.

I also will be running Toyo Open Country AT3’s in 265/70r17’s.

I don’t know your budget or anything but I am not trying to break the bank and feel this is perfect for the look and needs.

    Thanks for the replies!!

Budget really doesn’t come into play with me. I like doing things right the first time.

But, I also don’t believe in spending money on suspensions systems built for Baja racing when all I’m really doing is dodging potholes in New Orleans. Lol

I am not. I will be looking at a max lift of 2” so upgrading the UCA’s aren’t necessary unless I really feel like just spending money which I definitely don’t!
