Crazy how much torque these Cummins motors have and how fast a big truck like this will move.

I always blow it off there with canned air first to help remove the little pieces that like to scratch it. So far it doesn't look brand new but it doesn't have tons of scratches either.

The canned air will definitely help but I'd still highly recommend the screenprotech. I don't even bother with canned air anymore.

I just wish Toyota would use a higher quality material for the instrument cluster. Hell the clear plastic on my nephew's Legos is better quality. :annoyed:

I just put mine back up after removing for the exhaust. It was 16psi (my fault for not dropping it sooner… ever in the past 3 yrs). It could of gotten loose due to loss of air? But that’s what I didn’t do is lubricant- you spray or just goop it

    What patches

Thanks Bully for the inspiration. I blacked the logos on my wheel caps.

Pop the caps off, wash the spiders out of the back, set the cap on a coffee mug or similar, and take a screwdriver to the back. Come in from the side, tap down on the clip toward the center of the cap, and pull the logo off from the front.

The clip that holds the logo onto the cap goes out toward the outside of the logo. Bad picture but you can see the shadow of the clip on the granite.

I spray painted them gloss black (it's what I had in the garage; the other choice was bedliner), let them dry, and snapped them back onto the caps...

...then snapped the caps onto the wheel. I've got black lug nuts on my Christmas list.

I don’t think it was snug. In the past it usually takes some effort to crank down the spare. It was way to easy to lower.

I used the white lithium spray. It’s perfect for the hoist contraption.

    A (don’t worry I Zip-tied it) Patch and a Toyota Patch.

    Lights, Lift, more to come...
I added a set of Ditch Lights from Cali Raised on their low profile brackets. The lights, brackets and an OEM style switch with wiring harness were $150.00 delivered. They put out quite a bit of light and I think they look great. image4[513].jpg image5[514].jpg

Looks good! I've got the same brackets, but I'm going to be using them for spot lights.

I’m guessing something like this, not a tire patch.

Installed the Auxbeam auxiliary fuse box/ control panel (don’t have switchpros kind of money to waste) this afternoon in preparation of adding additional accessories like lights and such.
I was actually impressed with the quality of the parts with the Auxbeam product so far. Was expecting cheap plastic and was pleased to find most of the housings were metal.
Modified the supplied bracket to fit perfectly between the engine fuse box and the brake master cylinder.
The control panel is temporarily mounted until I get the custom interior panel from my Christmas list.
