Pretty cool about the trade in. Have a 21% discount right now as well plus I have the A/T so it works for me. Second person to recommend this product. Not the cheapest I've seen but close to it with the discount. Some are higher as well but also good products. I like that others have experienced using this one with great results. Thanks

    A bunch..and no build thread!
I actually spoke with people at Start-X last week to confirm the kit worked on the 2022 4Runner, they are open and were answering calls/emails.

Yeah they are pretty good with service. I've called and traded systems, also.

Jimmy (N2) is on the forums which makes after-sales service pretty easy and he seems to know his product inside and out. He went above and beyond for me so I would definitely buy from him again.

No issues at all, I've installed two of these one in a jeep the other in my taco. They work perfectly

Get the one with the cellphone app. It's worth it. Your fob doesn't have great range. Nothing better like hitting start from your desk at work and walking out to a nice warm car

I have the 12volt Solutions, which I’m having a few issues (might be pin/harness, or update).
Best feature for cell is locking remotely when you “don’t remember” if you did.

Alright, I know i'm a little late, however I recommend buying and doing the install and programing yourself.
A lot of companies use Fortin, Evo-all, or Evo-one, and change the name.
I purchased the Evo-one, but the (all) would of worked fine. I got a good price is all.

Purchase the correct year model of EVO module that is directed from the FORTIN website and install directions... Fortin.ca

Buy the wire harness directed from the website as well. take your time looking for one. try FACEBOOK market place, EBAY, AMAZON, SHOPGOODWILL...whatever
(Wire Harness) 2016 year uses THARN-ONE-TOY6
You can hardwire it in if you desire and not use a harness, however, I didn't desire to do this and used the Wire Harness. (makes it easy as pie)

    (FlashLink)
A circular device that plugs into the computer then attaches to the module and is read by the fortin app/program and allows for module programming. fill out what ever info it requests and make things up....

    (EVO-ALL or EVO-ONE) 2019 or newer module

I spent $160 for everything i needed for the first one, and then I spent $100 for a EVO-ONE and harness for my wife on her car. (Because I took my time and waited)
I Purchased and was paid back $120 to install it to another family members car... It's incredibly easy, so don't stress.

If you want a Phone start, then I guess you would need the Mycar device to attach... I have not researched enough to determine which device i will use yet. but my job does not allow a cell phone within the compound, so it's pointless for me.

@DeadReef Carlink ASCL6 cell module connects directly to Fortin Evo ALL and ONE (and many other remote starters). Pretty easy to install and program if you're a DIYer.

I bought one of these from a forum member and have had 0 issues. Works perfect and first year the app is free.

So I went with this. Couldn't pass up the deal. $119 and free shipping with discount code I found. Comes with the wiring harness for plug and play so should be an easy install. Designed for 2016-2019 so should work on my 2017. Didn't get the cell feature as I don't think I would actually use it as I'm usually in close proximity of my truck. Can always add that later if I decide. I appreciate everyone's input and sharing your experiences. Happy Holidays everyone.
