May have missed it in the manual but is there a way to get the dome light to just turn ON? I find the fade to on to be too slow for my liking and would prefer it to just be on or off.

There is no customization of the fade in/out of the light that I can find. If you switch to an LED that isn't dimmable then as soon as they reach breakover voltage they will just turn on.

Set it so the lights do not come on when the doors open, then use the switch if you need light. Well, that is how I have mine set, but not a great solution if you want the light on every time you open the door.

This is true. The drop ins that I used to have and the @MESO DC LEDs come on fast, but do fade when they turn off. Works great.

I have the old drop-ins if anyone wants them. Wicked bright though.
