We made it. 9 Days and 8 Nights. 4 nights in hotels. 3 were on the way up for the Camper and 1 on the way down when we just got tired of driving and needed a place around Pismo. The other 4 nights were camping.

Cannon Beach Oregon. Heading south down the coast after the Camper install.

First Camp was outside Waldport heading down the coast towards the Redwoods. We ended up running into some others camping out in this dispersed area who needed some help, and jumped started their truck on our way out. The good Karma would prove useful later that night...

Lots of scenic stops along the coast. I love the Rocky coastline and stopped every chance we could.

    This was Devils Churn..

2nd camp was a Campground right outside the Redwoods. Worked out nicely when coming into the area later than expected and wanted to hit the Redwoods the next day. We were just short on cash for the needed camp fee. Another couple rolling into camp was nice enough to lend us the cash needed to stay the night. We exchanged info and sent them money the next day on the road. We were already getting into the swing of things with the new setup and started to dial it in.

We found this Gem of a Campground for Camp 3. We came prepared this time for the fee and set up and made Thanksgiving Dinner and watched and listened to the waves crashing on the rocks. There were 2 other pop up campers there that night. It was so quiet and remote.

Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Rolls, Cranberry Sauce and Wine.. oh, and Apple Pie for dessert. lol This night was definitely our favorite. Between the food, views and sounds, and just finally getting to see the benefits of the camper and all the space and uses it provides.

We wanted to see the Golden Gate.. so knocked that off our list as well.

After that we just cruised home pretty much. Last night of camp was outside Joshua Tree.

Got to do some RC'n finally too.. on the last day.

Cruisin the washes on the way out. Got to camp and noticed the only casualty the whole trip was that my Grill finally gave out.. and I rubbed my Brake line a little bit, I'm guessing during the tight turns of the mountain roads and the truck leaning. I ziptied it out of the way and the grill back together.

Great trip!! I was in Waldport Sunday night before my install at some friends. House on the beach by the airport, or airstrip... That campground on the coast you liked, up in Mendocino Coast? 4 letter word and point? or near there?!

Interesting and coincidental! That area around Waldport was nice. That campground was actually in Westport.. at the State Beach.

Thanks! I drove up to Eugene, stopped at Heritage Distillery then to Florence and up to Waldport. Really nice area up there. Newport and Lincoln were pretty cool also. Had some great crab!!! Surf potential is very high.... :)

    Thanks again @BEAR_KNIFE_FIGHT

Placed my order with Powertrays for all the wiring accessories and goodies needed for the dual battery setup. Pretty large cart order.. but it's everything I need and will be clean and organized.

LOL. I hear ya. I've been chasing waves around the world for over 50 years and get the same stoke when I see places with waves. Good see that you have an eye for surf!!!

I love the utility of this thing. Just having everything I need within easy reach and in a secure weatherproof space is so nice. I've never owned a shell or anything like that.. so this is all a first for me. I see the attraction now. IDK if I'd go shell + RTT though.. just due to the height. this thing is honestly perfect height with the 2 in 1 functionality.

Needed to put air in the Mini, and my gauge is in the Taco. Opened up the doors, turned on the lights, grabbed my stuff from its cozy little place.. and off I went.

Also, @Mr.PowerTrays got my order out to me pretty quick! Just need to order my OGE kit and then its go time.

Piles are growing.. and the rear bumper should be here in a few weeks maybe.. Cant wait to get going on all this. Need to start ordering lighting now too.. I've got it all laid out..
