On my 2010 Tacoma. I've installed gog lights...there were connections there for them. However, when I removed the blank on far left dash board, there isn't anything to plug the fog light switch into? I removed coin try and still see nothing. I'm screwed?

Did you look behind the other switch covers? Maybe it’s behind one of them?

Is your switch an OEM or Aftermarket?

You may have found the correct connector, but have an incompatible switch.

You may need to do more speelunking under the dash, if you have an OEM switch.

    <edit>
Assuming the '10 is similar to the '06...... based on the Wire Routing diagram. The connector for the switch is on the left side of the steering wheel in the vicinity of the LSD (if you have one) switch. Might be pushed up high and deep. Also, the Fog Light wiring diagram only indicates two wires for the switch. One wire runs to ground (RH instrument panel brace) and one wire from Main Harness for the Instrument panel (out of the LH kick panel). There maybe a 6 pin connector on the ground side of the switch.

You may need to visit Toyota for a switch.

Some more clues.....assuming the '10 is similar to the '06.

The wire from the Instrument Panel Main harness is BLUE. The ground wire is White with Black stripe.

We’re going to need to know what type switch you bought?
Is it a factory Toyota switch?

And what the connector behind the switch cover looks like.
If you’re wanting to go with OE plug and play.
You’ll need to add the fuse and relay for the lights.

You're not screwed if need be just run your own power and ground or they sell universal fog light wiring kits.

Many thanks for your help. I'll post a pic ASAP but according to your help, the switch I put based won't work with what I found. I've seen several videos where there was a wire ran from the relay under the hood to a power source and the fogs worked with running lights and or the head lights if needed I think? Wish I had more confidence in myself with this type thing.

The connector is either taped up to the other switch harness or wedged near the location. Look for it carefully.

I'll sure try. I did discover that I have no fog light relay in the fuse box under the hood. I'll purchase that tomorrow. I haven't had the panel off yet

just removed the blanks. Probably one reason I haven't seen it yet. Thanks carbide

You will also need a 15A fuse. It goes in the fuse box for the fog lights.

Are the terminals to the relay there?

All seems ok, but relay is missing.
