Awesome. I would've given them my business but they didn't want to install 265/70/17 KO2's on my TRD Sport. Went with a local shop and got an even better deal.

I always prefer helping out the local shops, but can't trust a lot of the local tire shops around me. Plus Costco will rotate for free as long as the tires are on the truck.

The shop closest to my house was selling bad tires that were returned warranties. My brother is a tire claim adjuster. He found out cuz of an accident that happened when the tire exploded that they received from them.

Costco quoted me $1,050 for a set of 4 tires with mounting and balancing. I got the same tires at the smaller shop for $1,200 which included a 2/1 block lift along with install, mount, balance, and alignment. Very pleased with the way my truck turned out.

I have the 255/75/17's sitting in my shop waiting for time to install the 2/1 on my truck (wife has cancer). Hope mine turn out looking that good!

Sorry to hear about the cancer. A few of my family members extended and close have gone through various forms and it absolutely sucks. Prayers for her speedy recovery. What's your shifter kart setup? I've seen a few with 250 2 stroke motors that rip!:burnrubber:

Sams Club is asking $272 per tire for 275/70/17 KO2’s. $243 per for the General Grabber HD’s in the same size.

So the question becomes, will these tires fit on a stock lift 2019 TRD Sport DCLB 4x4? If not, how much lift would I need or should I drop down the the 265/70/17’s?

Also, are the KO2’s worth the $100 a set more? The current firestone all weather tires that came with the truck, blow in the snow.

Looks good man! I like it a lot. I might be stealing your black wheels idea too. They are on my list.

The local offroad shop guy called them shims, they're 1/4 top hat spacers, I'm just lazy with typing lol.

I've had a bunch of different tires on my xterra, the toy before the trd pro, and tested them all rigorously. The km3's were by far the best, but no warranty so the best tire with warranty that I have tried were the k02's. The grabbers are good, especially for the price, but but the k02's out preformed them every time.

You asked me about that kart. Tonykart Esprit, pro-built CR125, set up for longtrack roadracing. No sprints. It won the International Kart Federation Roadrace Grandnationals, then won the Invitational street race in Monterrey Mexico three weeks later. It walked off and checked out: lapped every kart in the field except one driver. Tony Kannan. ALMOST lapped Tony too! I wasn't driving. This was before ICE motors were run in America.

Yeah, the 250 SuperKarts are insane. The Lemans Series races at Laguna Seca each year are preceded by many races, at one time one of which was the 250cc Superkarts. In 2004 the pole-winning 250 Superkart's qualifying time was quicker than the pole-qualifying time of every other Lemans series supporting race that weekend. In fact, if it would have been allowed to race in the Lemans-series prototype race it would have sat fourth on the overall grid. Only three Lemans prototypes ahead of it. Some behind it! Moreover, it qualified ahead of EVERY PORSCHE, and EVERY CORVETTE! How do I know? The guy that mentored me in my unremarkable kart-racing career placed fourth in that 2004 250cc race. The fastest race speed in a 250cc Superkart was seen at Daytona during Kart Week: 167mph. These 125 and 250cc karts are not your indoor concession karts. 0-100-0 in less than nine seconds with me in it (verified, but I was 155 lbs then), less than 7 seconds with a pro driver in them. They can do that in a little more than the length of your long high school hallway. If the traction is good!

Here is some 125 action for you from England, not me: 120mph racing at close quarters. I swam in college, full ride. Five minutes of this is harder than ANY race or workout I ever swam. Hardest, most strenuous thing I ever tried. G-forces are incessant, never end, and will WHIP YOUR ASS! My hat is off to the masters of this sport who can do this in anger for fifteen minutes with excellence.

Sorry to hijack, but it got my mind off my wife. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming...

    A bunch..and no build thread!
I have, full lock and flexed (as much as you can flex an OR on stock suspension) and no rubbing..at all. Forward and reverse.
