During our reno, we pulled out a fireplace that covered a 14 foot wall, floor to ceiling. I estimate 7000kg. The little Tacoma was a trooper, taking a significant overweight on each trip, just taking it easy to not hurt anything on the way to the dump.

    Ha!

I thought it was all done at once.

Yeah, had a yard of gravel in mine and she took it very well.

Welcome to TW by the way.

When I was taking my first trip, the scale said 850. I though "I can do a little more" so the next one said 920. At which point I realized it was kg.

My Dad and I did a number with his old Dodge Adventurer pickup. It was a 1/2 ton single cab but he put 6 ply tires on it. We put the side boards on, blocked the blocked the rear leaf springs to tie the booster in from the first movement, aired the rear tires to the max, then loaded it full of fresh cut and stacked hardwood rounds to the top of the side boards. On the way home we noticed the state highway truck scales where not being manned so we decided to check the truck weight. The '74 Dodge weighed in at 10,500 lb. We had around 3 tons fresh wet firewood back there! The rear universal joint puked the following week, but otherwise the poor thing survived.

Thereabout. Seems hard to believe it could be that much, but it was trip after trip after trip at 675-900kg per.
