    Thanks for letting me join!

    Bought my first taco a right after hurricane IDA since my 3/4 ton truck took a beating. Decided to go with a smaller more fuel friendly truck. It is a 99 extended cab 4x4. Drove it for a week and didn't like the sponge for brakes and lots of grease starved parts under the front.

    Rebuilding the suspension should make it drive like new I think. Going with the tundra brakes in front, (will upgrade rear at a later time). Also have a few other things that need attention, but nothing major thankfully.

    When the drive train finally gives up I'll do a diesel conversion..

    No real rust problems. That's the first thing I checked when I went to look at it. Southern truck as it were. I have all the service receipts from the 2 previous owners and no mention of a replacement frame. Truck was owned in Louisiana all its life..
