I have a '22 and won't say I hate the shifting, but do prefer the feeling in ECT. I don't feel strong enough to spring for a KDMAX tune, but would be game for this improvement for $50. Any other feedback on this product?

Thanks Joe. I literally just told my wife that it looks like a Body Armor HiLine and then I saw your comment lol thanks for the link. I’ll absolutely support this company, especially if they’re local. If you have a contact you can send me, I’d appreciate it. I’m at station 1 and I’d love to see it on your truck. I’m sure I’ll probably see you on our next fire and when I do, I’m definitely checking out your truck. When things calm down on scene, maybe you can give me the tour of it. You got a ton of cool stuff on your truck I wanna check out!
And thank you for the offer on helping with the install. I would be a fool to turn that down so I really appreciate the offer. I’ll take you up on that. I just looked at the link you sent and saw the process. Looks intimidating to say the least lol

No. Actually I had changed those out a couple months back.
Not gonna lie :rofl:it’s “feels” stronger, but I’m paying a lot of attention to the exhaust sort of chasing the growl. It’s a manual, so it’s always a little more fun.

Took my new 21 trd in to fix the whistle noise from 55-60. Had to open a damper kit, hope it fixes it!

There must’ve been a shard of metal in the micro fiber towel, I tossed it on the vise, and now my whole dash has a little racetrack swirl across it. It’s not terrible but it’s there.

threw in a power tailgate lock, easy install but a decent amount of time under the truck placing zip ties which was a bit laborious. Put on a hatch mountain while I was at it because I hate my money.

This conversation thread has me really annoyed. I'm stuck between saving to upgrade my shocks with maybe a lift, or getting a bumper/winch or hidden winch mount. All 3 are things I'd be able to use, but that's what makes it hard. So many good ideas. and all I did with my truck was drive the 24.6 miles each way to from work and be glad I didn't have to fill up with gas at $3.15/gal

Top of the dash. Light, single line scratch.

I was right there with you, ended up doing a 3” bilstien lift with freedom UCAs up front and ~2” OME rear leaf in the back as my first upgrade. My list is long and expensive, I suspect yours is as well. Just make it yours and whatever path you decide will be fine.

Im torn between a roof and bed rack system from up top overland or the southernstyle off-road front bumper with a winch…

I'll swing by 1's one day soon (maybe on a weekend) and you can check it all out. No need to wait for the next fire (although you missed a good one on the day after Thanksgiving! :bananadead:)

In the meantime, here's my build thread, if you want to check out any of my mods. Just be careful... this stuff is like an addiction, and it's hard on the wallet o_O

You might be able to use a hair dryer to gently melt the scratch down and then try rubbing it with your finger so it's less visible. A heat gun would work too, but at a much faster rate.

loving that xwing top mount for the 8 gang. But, you really should upgrade those map lights. Those oem map lights hurt my soul now when I see them. The MESO led upgrades are tremendously better..

Thanks. I’ve considered something like this but was more stuck on using some sort of iron. Maybe I’ll give it a try.

Heat gun keep your distance (as much as you can) and don’t leave it in 1 spot- always have it moving, keep on low. I’d probably use a microfiber wrapped around finger instead just because you will alter the texture too much if your not careful. I did this to bring back grey plastic on the door panels (last truck)

Use rivnuts. You’ll still drill holes, but rivnuts will make the holes look OEM. Top photo is one of 2 rivnuts I installed in my truckbed to make attach points for my MOLLE panels. The panels use existing driver side cubby trim bolts for attach points but the cubby was deleted for 2019 leaving none, so I made my own.
