Edit for an update: Ran by the local dealer after work yesterday, their tech looked at it and ordered a new radiator assembly, said the "crimp" between the plastic side and metal core was just bad and that was a replacement since they can't fix it. Dropped the truck off this morning about 8, and got the call it was done at 2. Much better experience with the local dealer than the previous dealer that serviced it. For those curious, a replacement radiator assembly is around $650 from Toyota, lol(this was replaced under warranty).

Had to jump a buddies truck today and opened the hood to find pink residue all over the top left hand side of the radiator and dripping down the left side. I don't see any obvious damage or cracks in the side of the radiator. Pretty pissed off to be honest because I just had the 10k service done last night at a dealer about an hour away from me(local dealer in town couldn't get me in before 2 weeks and I have a trip before then) and they didn't say any thing to me at all about this or having to refill Coolant. I just took the truck for about a 20 minute drive on the highway and checked it again and didn't see any change in the residue or coolant level.. Anyone seen this before or have any ideas? I plan to clean the area as well as I can tonight after I get some better pictures and check it again tomorrow afternoon.

You are under warranty, I wouldn't clean it. Just make sure there is sufficient coolant and take it to the dealer.

    Definetly wouldn't clean it.
Make the dealer find the leak.

Yeah take it in. I think someone else posted one like this before. Bad crimp where the fins meet the sides.

Took it by a dealer this afternoon and their tech took one look at it and said "yeah thats gonna have to be replaced". So they ordered a new radiator assembly and asked me to drop it off tomorrow morning and they should have it done by tomorrow afternoon supposedly.

I would be having a chat with the manager of the dealer that did the service. That is too obvious for a "tech" to miss.

I sent the service manager at that dealer a long email last night. It's going to a different dealer tomorrow

Glad they got it fixed without trying to screw you around.
