Phone hands-free sound coming out of small driver door speaker only

Hello all,

New to the forum and looking for some help. I have a 2012 taco TRD and recently discovered that any audio from my phone (calls and Siri) only comes out of the small speaker on the upper drivers door. Audio from the setup commands also comes out through this speaker. Music playing on BT audio comes out from all the speakers as normal.

Has anyone run into this before?

Interesting…i too have this issue. Incoming calls are very quiet especially at speed with traffic..I’ve tried everything i can think of settings wise within my head unit (not factory). I’ve always attributed to either a crap install done by the shop i overpaid in an attempt to get convenient replacement when the factory unit went on the fritz. I also have JBL so that’s another possible complication.


All that said i have no solution. Hopefully someone with more experience will know around here.
