What is causing supply chain issues?

This is the way.

 

We rent and sell heavy equipment and aerial lifts.
Yanmar is a quality excavator and diesel engine company.
Machines we ordered in 2020 for spring delivery are showing up now.
Yanmar told us that we needed to place our orders for 2022 earlier this year.
They would make no commitment on price.
Except that there would be a steel surcharge over the price of unknown percentage.
The fee to cancel the machines of unknown price + unknown steel surcharge would be 15% of the price they would not give us.

Kinda hard to sell that to a excavation contractor.

 

Oh and they are trying to add steel surcharge on machines we sold last year, and haven't delivered.

 

We are a marketing company that works with Milgard windows and I feel for anybody that needs to upgrade. Delays and price increases every month.

 

At work we're looking to get a new loader. Deere dealer said one won't be available until 2023.
