I keep hearing about the 90,000mi maintenance and how important it is. What all does it entail though? I'm definitely going to do a drain and fill of the trans fluid, but what else should I do? Something about the timing belt?

    2017 V6 SR5 2WD.

Edit: I plan on getting this done at the dealer.

It's all in the big black book, that came in glove compartment. Dealer will charge you a arm and leg for that service.

It's not though. Says nothing about timing belt or trans fluid change.

Yeah go with what manual says, study it and bring it in with you, in preparation to being sold a bunch of bullshit.

If the book is too complex....just take it to the dealer and tell them to perform all the required 90 Kmile maintenance.
Have them call you with any unforeseen issues.
    Walk away.
Stop at the bank to pull a personal loan to cover the dealer invoice.

    Thx for the fix.....

Although. What kind of jelly would you suggest? Grape. Strawberry.

Maybe Raspberry....it has all those little seeds...

Because there isn't a belt, it's a chain. If it doesn't say change Trans fluid, then it doesn't have to be changed. Simple enough.

The 2GR-FKS V6 has a timing chain. Should not require replacement like a belt.

Dealer wanted to sell me a trans flush when the book called for spark plugs. They never mentioned the spark plugs. I stopped going to them for service.

I prefer strawberry for my biscuits, but those that go to dealer unarmed with the factory recommendations out of the owner's manual, may want a dedicated jelly for their bum.
