My factory suspension appeared to have a good amount of sag compared to newly installed Monroe Quickchange units(07' 2wd base). I do believe cheaper shocks and struts, even OEM, eventually sag from new due to cheap coil springs and the way they temper the springs to achieve the dead coils and spring rates. Also, bushings. My old 147,000 mile shocks from 2007 have almost 1/8" sag in just the bushing compared to new. Add wear from lower control arm bushings and you might be around 3/16-1/4" more sag than OEM new just from extremely worn parts not including the spring sag overtime.
