Need help from SR5 owners w/Factory Alloys

Hey guys - I'm looking to buy some 16" alloys, and I understand from searching here that when you get an SR5 with these alloys on it, they still come with the 245/75R16 tires. Can someone confirm this? I'd like to use my Dunlops until next winter, but I'm worried that the thinner tire might not seal correctly on the rim. Our 245s are about 3/4" thinner than the 265s on the TRD offroads that also come with these rims.

Toyota does sell the non-trd trucks an option for the Off Road Rim & still puts on the Dunlop 245/75/16 tires.
I bought an practically brand new set of OEM TRD Off Road alloys for use on my 2006 4WD tacoma in the summer & had Goodyear Silent Armors in 245/75/16 mounted on the rims just fine.
The factory steel set I use for winter with winter tires.
Your dunlops will be the same.

 

My '02 SR5 came from the factory with the alloys and 265/70/R16's .....

 

You should not have any problem with fitting the 245's on the rim.

Picked 'em up this week from a member here. They look great, but I need to decide if I want to spend the $$ to mount them now, or wait for a few months and put them on when I get some new tires. Either way, they're getting some black rattle can!
