New Spectre fuel and water cans arrived today. Fit perfectly in the frame/mount Travis of SOB Fabrication (Ruidoso NM) built me for my swing outs

 

Man - I would kill (figuratively) for a auto hobby shop near me. Sounds like a great place for some DIY projects.

A quick afternoon project, applied thermo tech on my heat shield

 

I did the full tube and the scan gauge said it’s 13 degrees cooler on my ait, this was coming from a K&n I take without wrap and going to the afe with the rad support I take scoop as well so that would be taken into consideration

 

What temp difference is it from ambient temperature?

 

With my current intake set up before the thermo Tec, I would get 3* hotter than ambient temp if I’m constantly moving. It’s not a standard k&n set up

 

Reminds me of Austin Powers Goldmember.

Second estimate was only $70 less than first estimate. But first estimate includes full rocker and cab corner . Other estimate only cab corner .

 

Finally got around to doing the map light on with dome light mod. Probably the most practical and beneficial mod I've done to date.

 

You can get as many estimate as you want until you find the quote you're satisfy with.

Have you tried different types of business, metal fab, body shop, dealership, so on?

 

2 body shops so far . Dealer would be super expensive I’m sure . No metal fab near me that I know of .

I can't take credit for the write-up, as someone smarter than me put it together. Follow these steps and you won't have any issues. I chose to remove the dome fuse instead of unhooking the negative cable from the battery and had zero issues. The most difficult step for me was removing the two factory map light wires to switch them in the connector. Took a good 10 minutes but once I figured the first wire out the second was simple. I used an old wire clothes hanger to run the wire above the headliner between the dome and map lights. Worked perfect. I soldered the wire into the map light prong but one could easily use a female connector and crimp it onto the wire and slide it onto the prong. Overall took about 30 minutes, with 10 of that being me fighting with the map light connector
