Hey all, and Happy Thanksgiving to my 'merican brethren below the 49°.

Got a question, might be a stupid one but felt the need to ask.

I am looking to upgrade the suspension in my truck (07 TRD Sport). However, the previous owner put a 2" body lift on the truck.

I'm wondering if I should remove the body lift when I replace the shocks and struts, or if I were to keep it, would I need to replace the control arms and such too?

Thanks to any who take the time to read and/or reply.

The body lift shouldn't affect anything related to the suspension. The controls arms are all mounted to the frame.

That being said, I would suggest removing the body lift if you are doing any lift with the new suspension.

Remove it don’t like it. Keep it if you do like it.
