ok i have another problem with my tacoma

it started about 2 or 3 weeks ago...when i shift into drive (automatic transmission) i hear a loud bang about half the time

could it be the u joints? i really just dont know

first thing i did was check the transmission fluid even though im praying its not a transmission problem and its fine....any ideas?

    2000 tacoma SR5 2.7 liter AT 120,000 miles

    thanks in advance

Check the U joints. Crawl under the truck, grabe the drive shaft, and try and move it, and feel for play.

Check your U joints and also check your transmission mount.
