I liked Eric a lot, but I don't think he double checks the work that is being done in the shop. I've had to take my truck back for multiple redo's, on their work. No pride, or craftmanship was shown at all.

Agreed. Had Power Stop brakes installed at OE; afterwards brakes just didn't feel right: pedal was soft, and the emergency brake almost wouldn't engage. Eric thought it was a break-in period issue. Coincidentally, I needed to have some maintenance work done at local Toyota dealer. Asked them to check the (new) brakes. Toyota Tech showed me that the new drums were unadjusted and, worse, one of the original brake shoes had not been replaced (was the Toyota OEM shoe). After Toyota adjustment, the brake pedal softness and emergency brake issues were fixed. After telling Eric, who was completely responsive and supportive, he ordered a new pair of Power Stop brake shoes and installed them shortly thereafter. Eric also covered my Toyota dealer brake adjustment cost. On inquiring about the OEM brake shoe that was left on my truck, Eric's tech said "they're all black, so there is no way to tell the difference." All that said, I'm happy with my new brakes, but will not return to OE for Tacoma work.

I ended up going with ROKO Vehicles in Wellesley. They do excellent work and the co-owner Jon is an all around great guy! They installed some CBI rock rails, a Big Emu suspension and lift, and BFG ATs. Next up is full CBI under armor.

Anyone have any more shops in MA/Boston area they can recommend? I've reached out to Roko a few times with no answer for a westcott lift install...maybe some tires too. I don't know if they are just too busy are aren't interested, maybe worth just stopping by their shop and talking to them?

Most shops are crazy right now and you'll get raped. A lift install is not difficult. A few guys around would be glad to help.(me included)

We are trying to set up a meet and mod day in the near future in the bs thread. Hopefully it will be a regular thing.

The performance shop that does Ferraris?! They align tacos? They're not too far from me....wonder if they could align not only tires but also a lift.

Yeah, I believe they do. You'd have to call and talk to them. I haven't had suspension work done by them yet.

I’m looking for some help with lighting.
I wanted leds but couldn’t get them so
my truck is coming with halogen headlights.
    It’s not a style thing it’s a seeing thing.
I’d like to convert to leds.
I’ve watched YouTube videos until I’m sick of looking at them
Is there a shop in northern MA or NH that will swap out halogens for led’s, is reliable and wont break the bank.
I got to tell yeah I’m really starting to hate Toyota and I haven’t even gotten the truck yet..

So, this is a gray zone, because most LED bulbs don’t produce the correct light output (location of source to reflect off the reflector) and causes issues for other people. IIRC this is why a few sites took down many of their LED options.

There are two options I recommend for you. First would be to get Morimoto LED bulbs, which I believe are around 200 or so. The other option is to buy the LED headlights (OEM or aftermarket).

From what I’ve read (in other posts) you can’t just change the bulbs in a halogen lens…unless this something new

Ideally you'd want to swap out the headlight with an LED compatible projector housing as the halogen housings aren't designed for LED bulbs. Another option is a retrofit, buy some cheap takeoffs and have someone retrofit an LED projector housing into them. If you really wanted to swap in LED bulbs into the halogen housings you could, they won't be as efficient with the light beam due to the optic design though you might just notice a difference due to the increased brightness of the led bulb.

If you're just doing bulbs - I would suggest either Diode Dynamics (this is the brand I run/sell) or the Morimotos which are great as well - definitely don't buy any of the no name brands off fleabay or Amazon. As for whole housing replacements there are a number of options out there. I believe the retrofit source offers some as well.

I’ve pretty much ruled out a bulb swap as I don’t believe it’s the right way to go.
I’ll most likely go with a led conversion.
From what I’ve seen Im confident that I am fully capable of doing it myself. I just don’t want to.
First you got to sort out all the options
    Then find a harness
    Then do the work.
It’s worth the 1k to just be done with it and see where I’m going at night.
I’m telling you Toyota is really starting to piss me off

You can, but like Jason said, the housings aren't meant for it. That's why when you see those white LEDs in older vehicles people just randomly buy, they blind the crap out of everyone even just on low beam.

Do what Jason said and you should be set.
