So I've been lurking around TW for the past year and a half and figured I'd finally start to document my build.
I lucked out and bought my tacoma right after businesses opened up in the beginning of the pandemic. I paid $21k for a 2015 dcsb limited with 65k miles on it. It had a spacer lift on it and 33's on the factory 18's. Here's a picture of the first day I brought it home.

That same day I swapped the wheels and tires from my old 4runner. 265 75 16 duratracs.

Shortly after that I added a softtopper and oem roof rack.

So after a little while I wanted to have a little more security and found a white are v series with windoors

Also in the picture you can see the procomp wheels I scored for $50!

I also painted the grille surround and added trd pro grille
    20201227_135351.jpg

Then I took it camping in south florida last winter20210201_175933.jpg

Here's another camping picture after I added a sos concepts aluminum bumper and a road armor rear bumper

That brings it pretty much up to date other than I just sold my cap and roof rack and have some more parts on the way to go with the rtt I just ordered.

Oh and wasn't a big fan of the spacer lift so it now has 5100's with headstrong 2.5 coils!

Looks good! Love the black and white look especially in the second gens. And heck of a price before all the insanity and calamity!

Yeah I'm not a big fan of chrome. All that's left is the door handles and badges!

I painted the grille surround myself, bought the mirror caps, and then scored the body armor rear bumper for $100

Just picked up this vintage rtt today. It's in near mint condition for being 40-50 years old!20211121_171546.jpg 20211121_165453.jpg

Recently I've just been using the truck for camping trips. The first one was south florida again. The second one we did some wheeling and camping at my buddies property!20220430_142722.jpg 20220430_162117.jpg 20220312_080136.jpg
