I know there are a number of threads regarding this subject, although I have checked all of the suggestions, I'm still at a loss. I think I have traced the issue to the main power lead coming from the battery to the heater motor relay. There is now power at this connection. Pretty sure I've check all fuses. Is there a fusible link that supplies power to the relay.

Load side of the Heater (Fan) Relay is powered by the 50A Heater Fuse in the underhood fuse block, the control side of the relay is powered by the IG1 No2 Fuse in the interior fuse box. The Blower switch grounds the other control pin to turn the relay on and also grounds the blower motor through the resistor (grounds the motor directly for high speed).
You didn't post your year model but here's the system diagram for 05-06.

So you have no power to Pin # 5 (alway powered)?
And no power to Pin #1 with the ignition ON?

There is power to pin 1 with ignition on. There isn't power to pin 3 or 5. I believe pin 3 is the hot one, the same as pin 3 for the DIM Relay.

Have you verified your heater fuse is good, sometimes they can look good and still be broken.
If it is good it sounds like you have a wiring problem under the fuse box.

Thanks everyone. The 50 amp fuse was blown. I had bench tested the heater motor, but I guess it's drawing too much power. Replace the fuse and it immediately blew the fuse again. Unplugged motor and tried again and the fuse is fine. Picking up a new fan motor today. Thanks again.
